Leftover turkey and dressing? Make a waffle sandwich out of stuffing

About the recipe
Turning cornbread dressing into waffles is a fun way to reuse leftovers that may remain in your fridge after Thanksgiving. They’ll need plenty of nonstick pan spray and a longer cooking time than most standard waffle recipes.
Serves: 2
Hands On Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups leftover cornbread dressing
1 large egg
2 tablespoons buttermilk
8 ounces cooked turkey
4 tablespoons cranberry sauce
1/2 cup gravy, for serving
Instructions
Heat a waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions and spray generously with nonstick spray. In a medium bowl, combine dressing, egg and buttermilk. Scoop dressing mixture into the center of the waffle iron and lightly spread toward the sides. Cook until waffle is crisp on the outside, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from the waffle iron and cut into fourths. Spread two of the waffle pieces with cranberry sauce and top with cooked turkey.
Place remaining waffles on top and serve with warm gravy for dipping or drizzling.
