Avocado Aioli

2 ripe Haas avocados, halved, pitted and peeled

1/3 cup mayonnaise

Juice of 1 lemon

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced

1 clove garlic, minced

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper


Place the avocado, mayonnaise, lemon juice, jalapeño and garlic in the bowl of a food processor and purée until smooth, about 1 minute. Taste the aioli and season with salt and pepper. Serve, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.

Update your aioli game by adding ripe green avocados.

We prefer to use Duke’s mayonnaise in this recipe.
