Fans of New York City-based burger chain Shake Shack are in luck: the restaurant is officially making its Nashville debut in mid-2018.

Shake Shack is officially coming to Nashville.

The company announced its plans Wednesday to open its first-ever Tennessee location in the Hill Center Green Hills at 4031 Hillsboro Pike. The restaurant will occupy the vacant corner location right off Hillsboro Pike.

The news comes after it became public that Shake Shack was scouting Nashville sites earlier this year.

Founded by Danny Meyer in Madison Square Park in 2004, Shake Shack is known for drawing crowds at its more than 90 U.S. locations. The restaurant also operates more than 50 international locations and the company has grown into a billion-dollar global, publicly traded burger chain.

The fast-growing concept is known for its all-natural Angus beef burgers and flat-top Vienna beef dogs, all-natural cage-free chicken, spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries and craft beer with wine available at select locations. Over the summer, Shake Shack introduced its Hot Chick’n sandwich.

Earlier this year, Shake Shack opened its Astor Place Shack in New York, which offers a cashless environment with kiosk-only ordering. Several kiosks line the Shack and team members known as Hospitality Champs stationed around those ordering stations help guests with their orders and answer any questions.

Currently, the closest Shake Shacks to the Nashville area are in Atlanta and Lexington. Ky.
