Social club, pizza, tacos: Nashville's February dining scene brought some new eats, treats

- A new social club welcomed guests to its Midtown location, offering buzz-worthy drinks like the "Harry Styles."
- A Green Hills restaurant is offering chicken and pizza paired with house-made sauces and a great happy hour.
- A beer garden-style eatery opened in West Nashville, offering a mix of German and Southern cuisine.
Spring is (almost) here, Nashville, and so are new restaurant openings.
February brought new nightlife spots, family-friendly pizza and contenders for neighborhood staples.

Openings
TMRW
New social club and music venue TMRW opened early February in the 21st Avenue space formerly known as The Ainsworth. TMRW serves brunch and dinner, with a list of specialty cocktails to go with each menu. Look for funky cocktail names like Fake Gucci, Harry Styles and T Swift Tango.
Affinity Entertainment founder and CEO Matthew Romero is the man behind TMRW's branding, menu and event programming. Romero has also worked on concepts for The Four Seasons Hotel, Pins Mechanical Company, Analog Music Venue and The Hutton Hotel.
Dinner service is from 4-10 p.m. Wednesday, 4-9 p.m. Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday and 4-11 p.m. Sunday. Brunch is served Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Doughbird Pizza & Chicken
From the restaurant group behind The Twelve Thirty Club, Pushing Daisies and Blanco Cocina + Cantina comes Doughbird Pizza & Chicken, which opened in Green Hills in early February.
The restaurant, located in Hill Center, serves pizza Detroit style or hand-stretched. Chicken tenders, wings and full rotisserie style are also available. At the center of it all is a selection of house-made dipping sauces and dressings.
“We're so excited to continue the growth in Nashville and open at Hill Center Green Hills," founder Sam Fox said in a news release about the opening. "Doughbird is such a fun place to be. You really can't go wrong with delicious pizza, crispy chicken, a good happy hour - there's something for everyone!"
Doughbird has another location in Phoenix, Arizona and one on the way to Tucson. The Nashville location is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Streetcar Taps and Garden
Streetcar Taps and Garden on Charlotte Avenue celebrated its grand opening weekend Feb. 24-26, welcoming guests to a reimagined historic building and serving a unique mix of German and Southern cuisine.
Chef Carter Hach is leading the neighborhood-focused endeavor, open from 3-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday.
Taco Mamacita
The Germantown location of Taco Mamacita opened in early February in the Sixth Avenue North building last home to Little's Fish Market. The Chattanooga-based Monen Family Restaurant Group, which also owns HiFi Clyde's Nashville and Milk & Honey, paid $1.9 million for the building in March 2021.
The Mexican restaurant was originally located in the Edgehill Village building that now houses Sadie's. It is open daily 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

Teddy's Tavern to wrap up construction near Lower Broadway
Fat Bottom Brewing is finishing up interior construction on Teddy's Tavern, a downtown outpost on 5th Avenue South serving craft beer on tap. General manager Jonathon Martin relocated to Nashville to lead the new bar, which aims to offer a laid-back feel amid downtown's busy entertainment district.
The second floor of the decades-old building holds a modest stage fit for a lone singer, and the rooftop "rose garden" boasts unobstructed views of Bridgestone Arena.
Teddy's Tavern plans to open in March. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. daily.
Dream Hotel announces Cherry Blossom pop-up bar
Dream Hotel's Parlour Bar announced its next pop-up bar, which will draw inspiration from Japanese Cherry Blossom festivals with a floor-to-ceiling floral wall, a life-size cherry blossom tree and a photo booth outfitted with flowers.
"Blossom Bar" will be open Thursday, March 9 through late May. Open Monday through Wednesday 4 p.m.-midnight, Thursday 4 p.m.-1 a.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-1 a.m. and Sunday noon-midnight.
