Texas Margarita

Ingredients

Margarita salt

Ice

2 1/2 tablespoons (1 1/4 ounces) gold tequila

3 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) Triple Sec

Splash of Cointreau or other orange liqueur

1/4 cup orange juice

1/2 cup sour mix

Lime juice

Instructions

Rim a 16-ounce glass with salt and fill the glass with ice.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila, Triple Sec and orange liqueur. Fill the remainder of the shaker with orange juice and sour mix. Add a splash of lime juice. Cover and shake until cold and then strain into the salt-filled glass. Serve.
