Why we love it icon

“This smoke box seems intimidating, but it’s actually very easy to add smoke to some of your favorite cocktails. I love making a smoked negroni … and experimenting with other concoctions. Plus this device looks really cool sitting on our bar.”
— Ashley Twist Cole, Editor-in-Chief

More about each flavor:

Chicory-Pecan: A very aromatic bitters, made with Louisiana pecans and locally-roasted chicory and coffee, backed with spices including cinnamon. This flavor works well with bourbon, rum, and surprisingly well with tequila. Try it in your next Old Fashioned or Tiki style drink.

Spiced Cocoa Tea Bitters: This bitters is made with naturally and traditionally grown, fermented, and dried stone-ground cacao, spices from St. Lucia, and local produce from Hollygrove Market and Farm in New Orleans. It's aged in whiskey barrels from Donner-Peltier Distillery. The flavor is heavy chocolate followed by spice and oaky whiskey notes, a slightly bitter finish and a light tingling sensation from the local cayenne peppers.

Cucumber and Lavender: This bitters flavor was the proud winner of the Southern Living Magazine 2015 Food Awards. Up your G&T game with this cucumber and lavendar rich bitters. Perfect for spring and summer cocktails, you almost can't go wrong with this one if you add some gin, vodka or Irish whiskey and your favorite mixer.

Gumbo: Gumbo bitters were created using all the typical flavors of a pot of Louisiana Gumbo, which you immediate get on the nose when you first get to know it. It pairs well with both white and aged spirits. Not just for cocktails; try adding this bitters in soups and stews for an extra dose of flavor. Primary flavors here are creole tomato, file, onion, bell pepper, celery, thyme, and spices.
