Bee's Wrap

Bee's Wrap 3-piece Pack in Mimi's Purple Clover Print
$28.00

Bee's Wrap® is the sustainable, natural alternative to plastic wrap for food storage. It can be used to cover everything in the kitchen, just like plastic wrap: bread, cheese, storage containers and more. Simply use the warmth of your hands to soften the wrap and create a seal. When cool, the wrap will hold its shape.

This assorted set of three wraps includes one small (7- by 8-inch) wrap perfect for a lemon, avocado or small snack; one medium (10- by 11-inch) wrap for cheese, carrots, herbs and bowls; and one large (13- by 14-inch) wrap for larger items such as melons, greens, baked goods and serving bowls.

Why we love it icon

Say goodbye to the endless parade of plastic wrap and plastic baggies. Bee's Wrap keeps everything in our kitchen covered and sealed without all the waste. It also doesn't hurt that they're far, far cuter than Saran Wrap.

Bee’s Wrap was founded in 2012 by Vermonter Sarah Kaeck, a mother of three who has been, by turns, an avid gardener, milker of goats, keeper of chickens, and seamstress. Bee’s Wrap started with a question facing many families and home cooks: How could we eliminate plastics in our kitchen in favor of a healthier, more sustainable way to store our food?

What she discovered is a lost tradition made new again. By infusing organic cotton with beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin, she created a washable, reusable, and compostable alternative to plastic wrap.

In the early days, the Bee's Wrap team hand-painted wax onto every wrap — for months the comforting scent of beeswax filled Sarah’s home. They've since designed a custom machine to coat their organic fabrics with their propritety beeswax mixture. Today, Bee’s Wrap is handmade by a growing team in a Bristol, Vermont workshop tucked at the edge of a winding river.

Wash your Bee’s Wrap in cool water with a mild dish soap. (Avoid sources of heat, such as hot water and microwaves.) Air dry, fold and store in a drawer or in a basket on the counter. The beeswax and jojoba oil have antibacterial qualities that help to keep your food fresh and allow you to use the Bee's Wrap again and again.
