Southern Kitchen's Frosé

Serves: 4 to 6

1 (750-ml) bottle of dark, rich, rose, preferably pinot noir
6 ounces fresh strawberries, halved, plus more for garnish
1/4 cup sugar
2 ounces vodka
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Ice cubes


Pour the entire bottle of wine into a freezer-friendly baking dish or in ice cube trays and freeze completely, 4 to 6 hours.

Transfer to a blender and add the strawberries, sugar, vodka and lemon juice. Fill the blender with ice and blend until your desired consistency is reached. Pour into rose or other wineglasses and garnish with a strawberry. Serve immediately.
