Classic Margarita

2 ounces tequila blanco
Juice from 1 lime, plus 1 lime wedge, for garnish
1/2 ounce Cointreau Triple Sec
Ice cubes



Shake the tequila, lime juice and triple sec in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice for 30 seconds. Pour the contents of the shaker, including ice, into a rocks glass. Top with ice as needed and garnish with a lime.

(For a salted rim, before preparing the cocktail, circle the top of the rocks glass with a lime wedge, covering with the juice from the lime. Dip upside down in a plate of kosher salt or margarita salt. Carefully pour the contents of the shaker into the glass.)
