
Homemade Dried Apricot Jam

Ingredients
1 (12-ounce) bag fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup bourbon
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
Zest and juice of 1 orange
1/2 cup pecan pieces, toasted
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, bourbon, sugar, salt, orange juice and zest, and bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and mixture has thickened, 20 to 25 minutes. Fold in the pecans and transfer to a medium bowl. Refrigerate until cold before serving.

Fresh cranberries are usually available in most supermarkets in the fall months, and you should be able to find frozen cranberries year-round.
