Our Thanksgiving recipe contest is back and bigger than ever!

Get ready to show off your best Thanksgiving cooking because the Southern Kitchen recipe contest is back! We're partnering with Home Town Cookin' to make this year's contest and prizes better and bigger than ever, so come gather around the table and help us cook up something special.

This year, we're giving you the chance to compete with readers from across the country for the very best recipes across four categories: soups, vegetable dishes, non-turkey entrees, and cakes and cobblers. (We know y'all already have those turkey recipes down-pat.)

Each and every home cook who submits a recipe will be entered to win our grand prize: a complete kitchen upgrade that includes a 10-piece set of Demeyere cookware and two knives from our friends at ZWILLING. Winners in each of the four categories will receive curated prizes — and bragging rights, of course!

All you need to do to enter the contest is to fill out our recipe submission form. The recipe contest kicks off today and you've got until September 29 to submit your recipes.

We'll do the hard work of sifting through and testing recipes throughout September and October. We'll announce all of the winners in early November, so you'll have plenty of time to add them to your Thanksgiving menu.
