Sometimes the food we find on Instagram is almost too pretty to eat. If you don’t have enough mouth-watering pictures of Southern food coming up in your Instagram feed, we’ve got you covered — we found some of the best chefs in Georgia to follow on Instagram. These Southern chefs come from different backgrounds and their Instagram accounts offer a peek into their lives both in and out of the kitchen. Find out their tips and tricks and maybe even find some inspiration for your own cooking.

Chef Ford Fry

Ford Fry, Ford Fry Restaurants in Atlanta, Georgia

As the owner of 10 Atlanta restaurants, chef Ford Fry has graced the Atlanta dining scene with delicious seasonal cooking that is meant to bring people together. His culinary inspirations come from his childhood in Texas and working in places like Florida and Colorado. Fry uses his Instagram to post snaps of his yummy creations from his restaurants and what he’s cooking at home. He also gives followers a chance to see the fun that’s going on behind the scenes at his restaurants. Some of the most interesting photos include beef rib Jenga and wood grilled foie gras — who knew you could grill foie gras!

Chef Anne Quatrano

Anne Quatrano, Bacchanalia in Atlanta, Georgia

The queen of the Atlanta fine dining scene and James Beard Award winner splits her time between Atlanta and her 60-acre farm in Cartersville. This past summer she moved Bacchanalia to a new location, leaving behind the location in Westside Provisions that the restaurant had called home for the past 17 years. On her Instagram, Quatrano shows off the interior of the new space, life on the farm and the beautiful farm-to-table dishes on the menu at Bacchanalia.

Chef Whitney Otawka

Whitney Otawka, Cumberland Island, Georgia

After cooking in San Francisco and San Diego, West Coaster Whitney Otawka made her way to Athens, Georgia. Otawka has worked in every position in the kitchen crafting her skills that landed her a spot on season nine of Top Chef. After Hugh Acheson’s Cinco y Diez shut its doors in 2014, she headed back to Cumberland Island, where she is currently cooking and writing. Her Instagram is full of handmade dumplings, freshly grilled fish and palm trees.

Chef Todd Richards

Todd Richards, Richard’s Southern Fried in Atlanta, Georgia

Chef Todd Richards has cooked in some of Atlanta’s finest kitchens and consulted with various restaurants to create and update Atlanta’s dining scene. His latest endeavor was the opening of Richards’ Southern Fried in Krog Street Market last year and a new monthly pop-up dinner series. On his Instagram, Richards posts mouthwatering photos of his crispy fried chicken (which happens to be gluten free), videos of cooking techniques he’s trying and up-close pictures of the dishes he’s created.

Chef Hannah Chung

Hannah Chung, Simply Seoul in Atlanta, Georgia

Known as the queen of kimchi, Hannah Chung has a passion for artisanal Korean food and more importantly- kimchi. The former chef turned her passion into a restaurant that serves Korean steamed buns and kimchi at Ponce City Market and a line of hand-crafted kimchi that you can buy online. Chung uses the Simply Seoul Instagram to post photos of the restaurant’s food and a peek into what happens in the kitchen. From Andrew Zimmern stopping at the stand over the summer to enjoy its steamed buns to a voluminous Japanese omelet on top of fried rice, one look at this Instagram and you will be hungry.

Chef Jamie Allred and Jack Nolan

Chef Jamie Allred and Jack Nolan, Fortify Kitchen & Bar in Clayton, Georgia

After working together at The Lake Rabun Hotel, chef Jamie Allred and Jack Nolan bonded and decided they wanted to open a place that offered delicious food and drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. Fortify Kitchen & Bar and Fortify Pi was born. On the Fortify Pi Instagram, the team posts photos of what’s happening in the kitchen and delicious pizza that can be found on the menu. One of their latest posts, the blackout pie, features an interesting black pie dough topped with Maine lobster, grilled Osage corn, spinach, goat cheese and bacon onion marmalade.

Chef Asha Gomez

Asha Gomez, DYAD Tea & Spice in Atlanta, Georgia

Earlier this year, chef and cookbook author Asha Gomez closed her Indian patisserie, Spice to Table, to focus on her latest endeavor — a lifestyle brand called DYAD Tea & Spice. Her Instagram is colorful and showcases cocktails, roasted vegetables, travels near and far and things she finds inspiring.

Chef Kyle Jacovino

Kyle Jacovino, The 1540 Room in Savannah, Georgia

As executive chef at The 1540 Room in Savannah, Jacovino is focused on creating a menu of delicious Southern dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Before he landed in Savannah, his culinary passion  led him to cook in kitchens Pittsburgh, New York and Atlanta. On Instagram, he posts stunning photos of pizza cooking in a wood fire grill, hand-cut fresh pasta and life in Savannah.

Linton Hopkins, Restaurant Eugene in Atlanta, Georgia

The James Beard Award-winning chef is the man behind some of Atlanta’s best restaurants including Restaurant Eugene, Holeman & Finch and C. Ellet’s. On his Instagram, Hopkins posts fresh cuts of steak that you can find on the menu at his restaurants, cooking tools like pots and knives he’s using and the occasional odd, but intriguing post, like the video of him jiggling pheasant jelly in his hand.
