While we love to cook up (and eat) our in-house Southern Kitchen recipes, we still spend plenty of time reading recipes from bloggers and other food websites. Every Friday, we'll round up some of our favorites so that you'll have plenty of fodder for your weekend kitchen experiments.
While the rest of the world is focused on spending the new year sticking to healthy eating New Year’s resolutions, we’ve decided to dedicate the month of January to indulging in delicious food. Keeping in mind that winter is in full swing, so these rich and indulgent recipes will keep you warm and happy.
Cheese Fondue with Beer and Bourbon
The trick to this cheese fondue recipe from Bon Appetit is Babybel cheese. By mixing Babybel with Gruyère, the melted fondue mixture stays together better than just Gruyère on its own. The recipe calls for two tablespoons of bourbon, but we won’t tell if you make it boozier.
