Chick-fil-A's Peppermint Chocolate Chip milkshake

This holiday item from Chick-fil-A is a favorite in this Southern city

The Chick-fil-A peppermint chocolate chip milkshake rolled out nationwide right before Thanksgiving and is available in stores until January 6.

According to Chick-fil-A, the holiday milkshake is one of the most popular items on the menu. This past week, the Atlanta-based fast food chain released the cities who had the highest percentage of peppermint chocolate chip milkshakes sales.

Southern cities like Charleston, South Carolina; Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, Virginia made the list in ninth, eighth and third place respectively.

But which Southern city who took first place?

Charlotte, North Carolina.

While the actual sales number wasn’t released, according to Chick-fil-A: “More of these milkshakes were sold throughout the 31 Charlotte-area Chick-fil-A locations than any other city in the country last holiday season.”
