Starbucks’s newest Frappuccino tastes like Christmas

Starbucks isn’t afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to creating wacky frappuccino flavors. Who can forget the Unicorn Frappuccino? Today the coffee company released the Christmas Tree Frappuccino. The festive drink is only available until December 11, so if you want to try this new drink head to Starbucks this weekend.

Starting with a peppermint-mocha blended crème base, the Christmas Tree Frappuccino is then topped with matcha whipped cream. To create the tree, the Frappuccino is “decorated with a 'garland' of caramel drizzle, candied cranberry ornaments, all finished with a strawberry tree topper,” according to the Today show.

The drink is super sweet and is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth. According to the Today show, the flavor resembles “a cold version of the chain's popular peppermint hot chocolate.” And during the holidays, who doesn’t love chocolate and peppermint?

If you can’t make it to Starbucks for this frozen concoction, we’ve found a few peppermint chocolate recipes for you to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
